Doireann & Cathal’s Lights Out Wedding

Doireann & Cathals Lights Out Wedding

Doireann and Cathal’s wedding was so wild….even the lights went out! The Bride and Groom wanted to have and informal wedding party for their friends and family, so while we floating through the guests serving dinner, The Risers, an upbeat traditional band played. All was going swimmingly until we got to the 3 course of dinner and the power in the whole town of Killorglin was cut!

Not to worry! We had backup in the kitchen, the drinks were flowing, and the band played acoustically for 40 minutes until the power returned which was met with a mighty cheer by all the guests!

After dinner, the WOW Party Band took to the 10 Bridge Street stage and had the crowd absolutely hopping! We had great fun with Doireann, Cathal and all their friends and family, we wish them both a lifetime of happiness!

"Our first visit to 10 Bridge Street was in October 2021 for a gig and we instantly knew it was somewhere special. The following day we met Cliodhna and booked our wedding for June 2022! If you are looking for something fun, different, and informal then look no further than 10 Bridge Street. The building is beautiful and the team is so accommodating. We had the best day from start to finish, from our very personal wedding ceremony where our friend acted as the officiant to the early hours of the following morning on the dancefloor! The staff were so helpful and even kept us all calm (and went in search of candles) during a 40-minute power cut due to the heavy rain! Most of our guests didn't even notice the outage as they were having such a good time! The food was amazing and the team handled the many dietary requirements so carefully. I couldn't recommend 10 Bridge Street more for a unique wedding day full of good fun and good food!"
