Eileen & Barry’s Craic Filled Wedding

Craic Filled Wedding (10 Bridge Street)

When we first met Eileen and Barry we knew their wedding would be full of craic! These two messers were definitely made for each other! Eileen & Barry wanted a laid back day, with great food, lots of a drinks and plenty of craic on the dance floor. We took care of the food and drinks and the happy couple and their friends and family took care of the craic!

From the ceremony straight through to the midnight supper we laughed the whole way through, as did the bride and groom. The room was filled with so much love for this beautiful couple, we only wish we could do it all over again!

Congratulations Eileen & Barry, we cannot wait for the anniversary party 😉

"We really had the wedding of our dreams in 10 Bridge Street. From start to end, it was just a day of laughing and relaxed good vibes. Naturally, our guests chipped in here but we also have Katie and the fabulous team to thank in large for this. We knew straight away we wanted to break out of the hotel/large venue scene and wanted somewhere that called for a more intimate and chilled ambiance. We happened upon this place by a sheer stroke of luck. Under the shrewd guidance of Katie, I can hand-on-heart say we didn't have one minute of panic or worry, the whole organisation was a breeze from start to end. We just couldn't wait for the day to come. From the wine/food tasting, to the ceremony itself, to Kingstons Bar & Terrace (reception drinks), to the divine food/table presentation, to the rocking after party, I just couldn't recommend 10 Bridge Street Highly enough. The acoustics were second to none, so there was no straining to hear any speeches and the whole place was bouncing when the band started! Another thing that was important to us, is that we weren't dragged away for 2 hours of labourious photo-taking in the middle of our day. Although there are fabulous lakes/view points close by, there are plenty photo opportunities within Killorglin itself, with plenty colourful graffiti art for a quirky photo (including one of the infamous King Puck!) And it goes without saying, the venue is a serious photo op in its own right (inside and out) The venue was a big talking point for people, and although we're only from Cork, so many people couldn't believe they hadn't seen the place before. They will certainly be back. If you're looking for something slightly off the beaten track, more personal and less copy-and-paste than your hotel wedding, but still retaining those small special bits of tradition, then I wouldn't look any further."
